The artist presents a landscape that starkly contrasts with that of Julian Dimock*, highlighting the detrimental impacts on the Everglades and its indigenous peoples. The depiction of the Seminole presence within the artwork conveys their disapproval of the disrespectful treatment of nature. In contrast, the Seminole tribe's harmonious relationship with the ecosystem exemplifies their profound connection to the land. This series critiques modern human practices—such as rampant construction and expansive sugar plantations—that disrupt the Everglades' ecological balance. Through this work, the artist calls for reevaluating our environmental attitudes, advocating for a consciousness akin to the Seminoles' mindful relationship with nature.

*1910 Julian Dimock carefully documented the people and places in each photograph he took, creating an unprecedented historical record and a family photo album for the Seminole Tribe.
